From the Google Pixel phone in Scream 6 to the U-Haul trailers in Sweet Tooth, we explore how brands have successfully integrated their products into popular media.

Product placement has become an essential part of modern advertising, and it’s no wonder. With the power of TV shows and movies, brands can get their products seen by millions of people around the world. In this article, we take a look at the top 10 product placements according to the Product Placement Blog. From the Google Pixel phone in Scream 6 to the U-Haul trailers in Sweet Tooth, we explore how brands have successfully integrated their products into popular media.

Google Pixel Phone Used by Samara Weaving as Laura Crane in Scream VI

In the latest installment of the Scream franchise, Scream VI, the Google Pixel phone made a notable appearance. Actress Samara Weaving’s character, Laura Crane, is seen using the phone throughout the movie (spoiler: it doesn’t last long).

Compared to its competitors, the Google Pixel is not as widely used in popular media. This makes its appearance in the movie more noticeable and impactful for the brand.

Coors Beer in Scream VI

Coors Beer was prominently featured in the movie Scream VI. Throughout the movie, viewers can see various Coors products such as Coors Light, Coors Banquet, and Coors Edge. This brand appears the most of any product placement in the movie.

Espolòn Tequila Bottle in Scream VI

While it may not have received as much attention as Coors beer in the movie Scream VI, the Espolòn Tequila bottle was also spotted. It is worth noting that Espolòn Tequila holds the title of “Official Tequila Partner” for this year’s most anticipated horror movie, Scream VI.

Tŷ Nant Water in Righteous Thieves

The film Righteous Thieves features blatant product placement of Tŷ Nant water in several scenes. Viewers can see the brand prominently displayed as the beverage of choice for the characters.

Apple in Ted Lasso S3Ep7

Ted Lasso, the popular Apple TV+ show, is known for its heartwarming storylines, relatable characters, and its fair share of Apple product placements. In the latest episode, Episode 7 of Season 3, we see a clear and prominent display of the MacBook, iMac, iPhone, and Apple Watch.

But this is not the first time we have seen Apple products in Ted Lasso. Since the very first episode of the show, we have seen characters using Apple devices. In fact, the show has made it a point to showcase these products in a very organic and natural way, without making it feel like a blatant advertisement.

Apple MacBook Laptop in The Rookie S5Ep21

In addition to Ted Lasso, Apple product placement can be seen in other popular TV shows, such as The Rookie. In Season 5, Episode 21 of The Rookie, we see a clear and prominent display of the MacBook laptop.

We also see a notice that reads “Promotional consideration by Apple” during the episode’s end credits.

Dell Laptops in The Rookie: Feds S1Ep21

In the case of The Rookie: Feds, which is a spin-off of The Rookie, we can see a Dell laptop being used in Season 1, Episode 21.

While The Rookie featured Apple product placements, it’s possible that the spin-off show had a different arrangement with Dell for product placements.

Crown Royal Canadian Whisky (Diageo) in Walker S3Ep16

In a recent episode of the television show Walker, viewers were treated to a blatant example of product placement. In episode 16 of season 3, the characters are seen drinking Crown Royal Canadian Whisky, a brand owned by Diageo.

U-Haul in Sweet Tooth S2Ep2 and S2Ep3

In the second and third episodes of the second season of Sweet Tooth, the post-apocalyptic world gets a new addition in the form of U-Haul trailers. The trailers, which appear prominently in several scenes, appear to be the primary mode of transportation for characters traveling by horseback.

While the U-Haul product placement may seem blatant, it does add a level of realism to the show’s universe. After all, in a world where gasoline is scarce, traditional vehicles may no longer be viable. Plus, the idea of using a U-Haul trailer to haul stuff with horses across a barren wasteland is undeniably cool and interesting.

Amazon Prime in Lucky Hank S1Ep7

In Episode 7 of Lucky Hank, viewers may have noticed the appearance of Amazon Prime’s signature delivery boxes and a courier delivering a package to one of the characters.
